An event the size and scale of the National Family Violence Summit cannot be held with out the generosity and support of a number of corporate partners and organisations that share a goal of delivering real change in family violence.
The following organisations have delivered valuable support to the Summit and we thank them for their important cash and in-kind contributions:
After one of our valued employees, Tara Costigan, was brutally murdered in February 2015, we contacted The Tara Costigan Foundation to see how together our organisations could bring an end to domestic violence.
For over 30 years BaptistCare has provided support to individuals and families impacted by domestic violence. To help end the cycle of abuse, BaptistCare has a ‘whole of family’ approach. We support families through counseling, men’s behaviour change programs, crisis and long term accommodation for women and children as well as no-interest loans. These services are delivered through our BaptistCare centres that mould their services to suit the needs of local communities and clients.
BaptistCare is a leading not-for-profit Christian based care organisation that has been serving the aged and people living with disadvantage since 1944. We support thousands of people across NSW and the ACT through more than 160 facilities and programs.
We are very proud to be the principal sponsor of the National Family Violence Summit.
